This is a savings of 88 tiles wide and 2223 square tiles. If you prefer to play on a main bus design, my design takes a 315 tile wide area to produce 40 belts compared to Nilaus's 403 tile wide area. This means you need one extra city block for a 2700 SPM base. You can fit 10 belts of my factories in a city block, where you can only fit 8 belts of Nilaus's factories in a city block ( Picture 2). Let's round up to 40 blue belts for easy math. For 2700 SPM, I use about 38.5 blue belts of green circuits per minute. This width savings comes at the small cost of extra modules and extra power.Ī good example of this is in my highly optimized 2700 SPM megabase.
